Stuart DeVaan to Give Keynote Address at Brown College Commencement

Minneapolis, MN., April 11, 2007.

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stuart DeVaan, CEO and Chief Technologist of Implex, a technology service provider based in Minneapolis, will give the keynote speech at Brown College’s Commencement at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. The ceremony is tonight, Wednesday April 11, at 7 p.m.

DeVaan, a 1990 graduate of Brown College, will share his thoughts on creative problem solving, using Star Trek, Pulp Fiction, and Alexander the Great as unique examples of his personal theories and philosophy. DeVaan will demonstrate how these strategies have helped him reach his professional and personal goals.

“Some people might be wondering what Captain Kirk or Pulp Fiction has to do with problem solving,” DeVaan says. “I’m really looking forward to showing these graduates that you can find insight and inspiration anywhere — even in a television show or a historical figure.”
